It’s time for some avo-cardio..!

My go to breakfast has always been simple yet delicious. Avocado and toast. This is a great way for me to start my morning and helps keep me energized for the rest of the day. Avocados are incredibly nutritious and eating these will seriously benefit you, but of course, anything eaten in excess can be bad so just because it’s nutritious, don’t devour these in large amounts.

As much as I love avocado, I don’t enjoy it as much when I eat it plain, I prefer to add a few other ingredients that always seem to do this dish justice. Tomatoes, onions, cilantro, spring onion . ‘so guacamole?’  Yep,basically but served on toast!

So, here’s my recipe for an avocado dip with chips or even plain toast. Both are tasty regardless.

More yum:
1 avocado
Diced tomatoes
Diced onions
Diced Spring-onions
Diced Cilantro
Salt+Pepper to taste
1 boiled egg (For avocado +toast)
Slices of bread/Chips of your choice

I haven’t provided the quantity above as I think that’s really something that’s different for everybody. Experiment with your taste buds! If you think you need more cilantro or you hate onions, add or remove! You know what you like!

If you’re making this to be eaten with toast: Boil an egg and keep away. Simply mash up your avocado in a bowl and season. Add the vegetables of your choice. Taste your food! Are you missing something? More salt, more pepper? Add it!

Spread your avocado mixture on your toast or place it in a bowl! I toasted my slices of bread because I like that extra crunch. It makes a difference!

This is what you should be looking for. I just sliced up the egg and added it on top. I love the extra flavor it brought to my dip, I would recommend giving it a try!
