One thing that I can’t ever seem to muster the courage to say no to will always be my mom’s artichoke dip. It wasn’t until yesterday when my mom forced me to learn how to make this dip, because she simply couldn’t deal with me constantly eating what was prepared for the guests. What to do.. it’s just so good!
I even brought this to a christmas potluck as a starter and everyone loved it. So, I decided to share one of my mom’s favorite recipes with you guys! It is so unbelievably easy!
What you need:
1) Canned Artichoke hearts
2) Sour Cream, 2TBS
3) Greek Yoghurt, 2TBS
4) 5-6 Garlic cloves
5) Black pepper 1 TS
6) Jar of deli sliced jalapeno peppers (1/2 a jalapeno pepper)
7) Mayonnaise 1/2TBS
1 step: put all of these ingredients into a blender and mix until a dip-like consistency! I baked my dip for 5-10 minutes, it definitely makes a difference- if you have a super runny mixture, you can pop your mixture into the oven and it can help to thicken the mixture a little bit.
And that’s all! It will literally take you 5 minutes to prepare and it is so delicious! Best enjoyed with some potato chips. My personal favorite is the original ruffles!
